Parents and teachers to protest before the Prosecutor for vandalism at Corfu Vocational High School
CORFU. The protest will take place tomorrow, Wednesday, at 10:00.
The Corfu 1st Vocational High School and Corfu 1st Lab Centre Parents and Guardians Association and the School Board are calling parents to protest before the Prosecutor at the Corfu Courthouse, in order to be informed of the lawsuit that was filed for vandalism, break-ins and theft of materials tens of thousands of euros from the school's laboratories, as well as of what the Prosecutor intends to do regarding the above.
The decision was taken today following a meeting of the schools’ principals, who issued a joint statement on the vandalism and damage to the school due to the sit-in.
The statement is signed by the Corfu 1st Vocational High School principal Vasiliki Monastirioti and the Corfu Lab Centre principal Panayiotis Karvounis. They stressed that the schools are in a state of emergency because the damage caused is inestimable and, unfortunately, the sit-in continues by a small number of students.
The protest will take place tomorrow, Wednesday, at 10:00.
