ATHENS. EODY announced 2,338 laboratory confirmed new cases on Wednesday 13 October - including 24 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 2,338 confirmed new cases today. 10 cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 684,706, of which 50.9% are males. Over the last 7 days, 120 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 3,029 are connected with known cases.
There were 31 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 15,241. 95.3% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
343 patients are intubated in ICUs. 297 (86.59%) of intubated patients are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, 46 (13.41%) are completely vaccinated. The average age is 67 and 80.5% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 3,221 patients have been discharged from ICUs.
The number of new hospital admissions is 222 (+37.04%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 192.
