ATHENS. EODY announced 2,126 laboratory confirmed new cases on Monday 20 September - including 40 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 2,126 confirmed new cases today. 11 cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 632,908, of which 51% are males. Over the last 7 days, 138 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 2,866 are connected with known cases.
There were 39 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 14,505. 95.4% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
342 patients are intubated in ICUs. 313 (91.52%) of intubated patients are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, 29 (8.48%) are completely vaccinated. The average age is 65 and 79.8% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 3,092 patients have been discharged from ICUs.
The number of new hospital admissions is 128 (-33.33%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 191.
