ATHENS. EODY announced 549 laboratory confirmed new cases on Wednesday 16 June including 5 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 549 confirmed new cases today. 1 of the cases was detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 416,741 of which 51.2% are males. Over the last 7 days 24 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 1,089 are connected with known cases.
There were 13 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 12,478. 95.2% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
330 patients are intubated in ICUs.The average age is 67and 86.5% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 2,589 patients have been discharged from ICUs
The number of new hospital admissions is 81 (+8%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 95.
