ATHENS. EODY announced 591 laboratory confirmed new cases on Saturday 12 June including 8 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 591 confirmed new cases today. 2 of the cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 414,636, of which 51.2% are males. Over the last 7 days 31 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 1,395 are connected with known cases.
There were 21 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 12,405. 95.2% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
360 patients are intubated in ICUs.The average age is 67and 87.5% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 2,560 patients have been discharged from ICUs
The number of new hospital admissions is 116 (-2.52%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 124.
44,775 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours (PCR: 14,208 / Rapid: 30,567) and the positivity rate was 1.32%.
