ATHENS. EODY announced 2,691 laboratory confirmed new cases on Friday 7 May including 19 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 2,691 confirmed new cases today. 7 of the cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 358,116, of which 51.2% are males. Over the last 7 days 53 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 1,705 are connected with known cases.
There were 63 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 10,910. 95.3% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
749 patients are intubated in ICUs.The average age is 67and 83.2% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 2,165 patients have been discharged from ICUs
The number of new hospital admissions is 392 (+5.95%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 391.
