ATHENS. EODY announced 1,259 confirmed new cases and 12 deaths on Tuesday 27 October. ICUs under pressure with 102 patients intubated.
EODY announced that there were 1,259 confirmed new cases today. 112 of the cases are connected with known clusters and 62 were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 32,752, of which 55.5% are males. 3,950 (12.1%) of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 12,381 (37.8%) are connected with known cases.
102 patients - 33 female, 69 male - are intubated in ICUs. The average age is 65 and 96.1% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 277 patients have been discharged from ICUs
There were 12 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 593. 225 (37.9%) were females and the average age was 79. 96.1% had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
