ATHENS. EODY announced 438 confirmed new cases and 9 deaths on Sunday 18 October.
EODY announced that there were 438 confirmed new cases today. 32 of the cases are connected with known clusters and 28 were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 25,370, of which 55.6% are males. 3,508 (13.8%) of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 10,153 (40%) are connected with known cases.
84 patients - 24 female, 60 male - are intubated in ICUs. The average age is 66 and 94% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 256 patients have been discharged from ICUs
There were 9 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 509. 193 (37.9%) were females and the average age was 79. 96.3% had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
