CORFU. There has some flooding of roads in the north of the island, trees have fallen, there have been power cuts but no injuries or danger to lives.
The Fire Department was called out several times, especially in the north, on Wednesday morning due to the worsening of weather conditions and downpours.
There was some flooding in Kassiopi, Avliotes and Sidari and in Sinies a large tree was uprooted and fell on power cables, causing problems with power supply in the area. An electricity pole fell in Roda.
Firefighters also removed fallen trees in Koulines, Viros and Lakka in Paxos.
