Man arrested for cultivating cannabis plants in South Corfu

CORFU. Corfu Drugs Squad arrested a Greek man on Thursday 4 June for cultivating cannabis plants.
Following a police investigation 71 cannabis plants, up to 1 metre high, were discovered in a wooded area in South Corfu.
The police uprooted and seized the plants. Irrigation and cultivation equipment was also found and seized.
The arrested man will be taken to appear before the Corfu Prosecutor.
