Depth of caverns in Lakones unknown!

CORFU. Earlier this week members of EMED (Special Search and Rescue Team) and the Greek Speleological Exploration Society explored the Lakones cave.
The members of the mission announced that, following up on information from locals, they had explored a large cave in Lakones whose depth remained unknown.
After several hours exploring and descending the narrow passages they reached a depth of 80m. They found that the cave continued even further down and they are now planning to continue their exploration on the next mission.
