Seaweed couldn΄t be cleared due to parked cars!
CORFU. It was impossible for Corfu Port Authority to clear the seaweed on the Garitsa shore road because of the parked cars.

Who should clear up the seaweed?
CORFU. For the last 3 weeks Corfu Port Authority and the Municipality have been trying to agree on whose responsibility it is to clear up the seaweed washed up on Garitsa shore road by ΄Victoria΄.

Mountains of seaweed in Garitsa
CORFU. Following Storm ΄Victoria΄ which hit the island, the good news is that DEYAK has sent a small dozer to clear up the seaweed that has built up on the pavement and part of the road.
