Mayor Kostas Nikolouzos thanks election personnel
CORFU. Mayor Kostas Nikolouzos gave warm thanks to Municipality employees who worked to ensure the elections went smoothly on 26 May and 2 June.
Rodi Kratsa elected Ionian Islands Regional Governor and thanks Spyros Spyrou amongst others
CORFU. In her statement at the Press Centre Rodi Kratsa congratulated the new Mayors and thanked her colleagues and Spyros Spyrou.

CORFU. Meropi Ydraiou ended her long statement with a quote from Ioannis Capodistrias after hugs and kisses from hundreds of friends as she arrived at the Press Centre.
Enimerosi proposal for TV debate with Regional and Municipal candidates praised but rejected
CORFU. Only the leader of ANASA, Theodoros Galiatsatos, responded positively to the proposal from Enimerosi for a debate ahead of the upcoming 2nd round of the elections.

CORFU. Councillor Nikos Kalogeros, Meropi Ydraiou΄s colleague, unleashed an attack on her 2nd round opponent Yiannis Trepeklis.
Final result: Meropi Ydraiou 4.53% ahead (1,451 votes)
CORFU. All the votes have been counted from Sunday΄s Central Corfu Municipal election with Meropi Ydraiou getting 4.53% more than Yiannis Trepeklis.
South Corfu Municipality: Kostas Lessis and Nikos Goussis go through to second round
CORFU. Kostas Lessis and Nikos Goussis are through to the second round of voting for the South Corfu Municipality next Sunday.
North Corfu Municipality: Mahimaras and Aspiotis go through to second round
CORFU. Georgios Mahimaras with 46.83% and Spyros Aspiotis are through to the second round of voting for the North Corfu Municipality.
Ionian Islands Region: Rodi Kratsa and Theodoros Galiatsatos go through to second round
CORFU. Rodi Kratsa and the present Regional Governor Theodoros Galiatsatos have gone through to the 2nd round of voting for the Ionian Islands Region.
Spyros Moros - Corfu΄s oldest voter!
CORFU. The much-loved Corfiot Spyros Moros went out to vote despite his age.
Corfu Central Municipality: Ydraiou and Trepeklis go through to second round
CORFU. The two leaders were applauded as they arrived at the Regional Centre in Corfu late on Sunday night to give statements to the local media.
General Election on Sunday (30?) June
ATHENS. At midnight on Sunday Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras said that following the 2nd round of regional and municipal elections he will meet with the President and request an early General Election.
