Question in Greek Parliament to the Minister of the Interior about Corfu’s refuse problem
ATHENS. The parliamentary representative for Potami political party Giorgos Amiras put a question to the Minister of the Interior Panos Skourletis in Parliament about the waste management problem in Corfu.
Municipality given extra space for waste bales at Temploni by Charity Board
CORFU. Land given as free loan from May 19 to October 19.
Municipality will accept recyclable materials at a transfer centre at Emporiko Kentro

CORFU. All the necessary procedures for transferring the waste bales from Temploni to Lefkimmi are being completed. Today the Cleansing Services (SYDISA) approved the funding of the operation.
Refuse collection has begun
CORFU. According to sources close to the local authority, collection of refuse to be taken to Temploni for baling began at about 18:00 and is hoped to continue smoothly and gradually.
