CORFU. It has become impossible for employees to work there under the present conditions.
The municipal services office in Sidari has been closed since Thursday as the employees can no longer bear the stench and the toxic atmosphere created by the piles of rubbish all around the building.
The area has been turned into an 'unofficial' rubbish dump with refuse that has been piling up for weeks now creating a situation which both intolerable and a health hazard for the employees.
