Water is being lost, time is being lost: the network is collapsing, and status of water infrastructure project is unknown
CORFU. The frequent water outages due to network failures are angering residents and causing inconvenience to visitors. While new studies for the restoration of the network are being completed and funding is being sought, it remains unclear at what stage the major project is—one that is being presented as the definitive solution for Corfu’s water supply.
Water supply outage in town centre, due to problem in main pipeline
CORFU. Every possible effort is being made to fully restore the water supply to all affected areas as soon as possible.
Scheduled water supply outage: Gastouri, Pikoulatika, Kaiser΄s Bridge

Problems and possible water supply outage in Corfu Town

Too little, too late
CORFU. An entire year had to pass, with the Central Corfu Municipality in a state of emergency, before the Ministry of Environment announced funding to replace sections of the problematic water supply network.
