San Giacomo Association supports Old Town Permanent Residents Association regarding music hours

(San Giacomo Association) The San Giacomo Cultural Association supports the initiative undertaken by the Old Town Permanent Residents Association for the legal defence of the existing legislation concerning the music hours in catering establishments, following the resubmission of the request to the Municipal Authority for an extension of those hours.

However, the path this request followed—from the Municipal Council to the Council of State—fully vindicated the residents. Furthermore, the submitted arguments of the residents, which express their opposition to this extension in a well-documented and good-faith manner, already, we believe, sufficiently support the need to preserve the current regulation, which respects in a balanced way the differing needs of those who live and are active in the town.
