Defibrillator donated to Vidos children΄s summer camp
CORFU. The Corfu branch of AHEPA presented to the Mayor on Saturday.
A defibrillator was donated to Central Corfu Municipality by the Corfu chapter of the American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association (AHEPA). The presentation ceremony took place at the Old Town Hall on Saturday, August 3, in the presence of the Mayor of Central Corfu, Stefanos Poulimenos, the Lieutenant Governor of AHEPA HELLAS, Nikos Dimitropoulos, representatives of AHEPA Corfu and local authorities.
In his speech, President Giorgos Salampasis said: "The donation of this defibrillator is an important step for the protection of people's health and is part of our commitment to contribute to the local community. We promptly responded to the need for a defibrillator with the commencement of the children's camps on Vidos."
Mayor Poulimenos expressed his gratitude for the donation, stressing the importance of having a defibrillator in the children's camps on Vidos island.
