Head injury for crew member aboard ship

CORFU. A 39-year-old foreign national crew member of a ship under the Maltese flag sustained a head injury as he was passing through the metal door to the bridge.
A Port Authority rescue boat took him to the Imerolias port at Kassiopi and an ambulance then transferred him to the General Hospital. He was allowed to leave later as, according to the Port Authority, his injury wasn’t serious.
The Port Authority are conducting an investigation into the incident.
