CORFU. Corfu Port Authority donated equipment to the island΄s two charitable institutions as part of its Corporate Responsibility programme.

Port Authority Director Vasso Martzouka and board member Dimitris Apergis visited the Old People's Home and Orphanage on Monday 20 January as part of its Corporate Responsibility programme to present the institutions with important equipment and other gifts.

As part of the 2020 programme, Port Authority representatives donated three air-conditioners to be installed at the Old People's Home along with traditional products for the residents.

They then had the pleasure of presenting the Orphanage with a large freezer and other electrical goods to cover the needs of the institution along with toys and games for the children.

Corfu Port Authority, with its sense of responsibility to the community, will continue to support social and charitable institutions and activities.

The donations to the Corfu Brotherhood are especially important as one can see at first hand the expressions of love on the faces of the senior citizens and children is response to philanthropic acts.

We would like to give warm thanks to the administration and personnel at the two charitable institutions for the work they do and their collaboration with Corfu Port Authority.
