Rally in support of Palestine - "Don΄t forget our people..."

On Sunday evening, the Corfu Solidarity Initiative for the Palestinian People organised a rally in the streets of the town, sending a powerful message of support. Once again, Corfu Town was filled with the colours of Palestine, with a large crowd taking part in the march.

With strong slogans such as “Freedom for Palestine” and “Stop Genocide,” the demonstrators raised their voices loud and clear, bringing the demand for peace and justice to the heart of the town.

Emotions ran especially high when a young Palestinian woman, present at the gathering, made a moving appeal to the crowd: “Do not forget our people...” Her words became the voice of both despair and hope for a people suffering a huge ordeal, reminding everyone of the human tragedy unfolding. Corfu once again showed that it stands by those who suffer.
