Crane lorry hits pole in Dassia, causing damage to bus

CORFU. There were no injuries.
Shortly before noon on Sunday near the IKOS Hotel, a crane lorry struck an electricity pole, causing traffic disruption but, fortunately, no injuries.
Emergency services responded quickly, with fire crews, the municipality’s Civil Protection unit, and technicians from DEDDIE working together to clear debris, restore traffic flow, and replace the damaged pole to reconnect power.
Deputy Mayor Fani Tsimpouli reported the accident on her Facebook page, providing updates on the situation and the measures taken to resolve the problem.
