Chlomos Residents Committee: ΄Connection of Drakontoneri borehole to water supply network within 48 hours΄
CORFU. The committee met with the South Corfu Mayor.
The mayor of South Corfu met with the Chlomos Residents' Coordinating Committee on Sunday, August 17, regarding the progress of works on the new borehole in the Drakontoneri area.
According to the Committee’s announcement, the connection to the water supply network is expected within the next 48 hours. It states:
"A meeting between the Mayor of South Corfu and the Chlomos Residents' Coordinating Committee, with the presence of the Community President, took place on Sunday, 17/08, at the Drakontoneri site where works on the new borehole are being carried out.
The results of the works are extremely promising, and the connection to the water supply network is expected within the next 48 hours.
The Residents' Coordinating Committee thanks all those who contributed to the restoration of water supply to all neighbourhoods of the Chlomos Community, as well as Mayor Yiannis Kavvadias for the fruitful cooperation.
