Regional Governor signs contract for study on construction of road leading to Agios Stefanos port

CORFU. The project titled ΄STUDY FOR THE CONNECTION OF PROVINCIAL ROAD 17 WITH THE PORT OF AGIOS STEFANOS΄ has a budget of €150,000.
(Ionian Islands Regional Authority) The Regional Governor of the Ionian Islands, Yiannis Trepeklis, signed the contract for the project study for the creation of the connecting road from the provincial road of Avliotes to the port of Agios Stefanos, in North Corfu, together with the representative of the contractor company, on Monday morning, July 14, at the Ionian Islands Regional Authority headquarters.
The project, titled "STUDY FOR THE CONNECTION OF PROVINCIAL ROAD 17 WITH THE PORT OF AGIOS STEFANOS," has a budget of €150,000 (including VAT).
Present at the signing of the contract for the study were the Deputy Regional Governor for Technical Works & Planning, Giorgos Mamalos, and the Head of the Technical Services Department of the Regional Unit of Corfu, Kostas Gasteratos.
After the signing, Mr. Mamalos stated: “This is the study of a very important project, as this particular road will facilitate access to the port of Agios Stefanos in Avliotes, which is, of course, a key hub for connecting Corfu with the Diapontia Islands.”
