Removal of objects placed in public spaces
CORFU. "If the objects are placed there again, the provisions of the Cleanliness Regulation will be enforced, with the imposition of the corresponding fines and their removal once again."
(Central Corfu Municipality) Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands Municipality informs residents that in the coming days, the process of clearing public spaces from unauthorised objects—such as signs, flower pots, planters, benches, etc.—will begin.
Residents are requested to remove any objects that do not have a permit for occupying public space. Starting Monday, February 17, the Cleaning Service crews will commence removal work from streets, pavements, squares, shopfronts and other public areas.
If the objects are placed there again, the provisions of the Cleanliness Regulation will be enforced, with the imposition of the corresponding fines and their removal once again.
