Upgrade of Urban Planning Services e-Permits information system

(Central Corfu Municipality) Today marked the completion of the delivery of modern technological equipment necessary for the operations of the Central Corfu Municipality Urban Planning Services. This initiative was implemented by the Ministry of Environment and Energy and the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE) under the framework of the European Union’s NextGeneration EU programme.
Recognizing the contribution of Urban Planning Services (ΥΔΟΜ) to supporting societal development and the work of engineers, the TEE undertook the implementation of the sub-project "Equipment for ΥΔΟΜ Users." This involved the procurement and provision of computers with appropriately sized screens, as well as an independent display monitor to facilitate the review of topographic diagrams and coverage diagrams in all Urban Planning Services across the country.
Additionally, based on statistical data gathered during the operational phase of the e-permits system, the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE), in the context of its institutional role, undertook to cover the additional costs required—using its own resources—to secure a greater number of equipment units. In summary, 7 workstations (computers and monitors) and one display monitor were delivered exclusively to meet the needs of the Urban Planning Services of the Municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands.
The programme was funded under the Recovery Pillar "Private Investments and Economic Transformation," overseen by the Development, Investments, and Extroversion Division of the General Secretariat for Coordination of the Presidency of the Government, the Ministry of Environment & Energy through the General Secretariat of Spatial Planning & Urban Environment, and the Technical Chamber of Greece.
