CORFU. Their central demands are to address the housing crisis, restore collective labour rights and counter the decrease in workers΄ purchasing power.
The union's administration decided to participate in the Panhellenic Seamen's Federation (PNO) 24-hour nationwide general strike declared by the General Confederation of Greek Workers (GSEE) on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, from 00:01 to 24:00 on the same day, for all categories of ships nationwide. The central demands are to address the housing crisis, restore collective labour rights and counter the decrease in workers' purchasing power.
