Man arrested for drug trafficking

A 26-year-old man was arrested in Corfu on Wednesday afternoon, October 30, for drug trafficking.

Officers from the Drugs Squad, acting on reliable information, located and arrested the young man. During the investigation, both inside his vehicle and at his residence in North Corfu, the following items were found and confiscated:

• 93.6 grams of cocaine,
• 345 grams of raw cannabis,
• €6,200,
• 1 precision digital scale,
• 1 mobile phone.

The Drugs Squad conducted a preliminary investigation, during which an additional car and a motorcycle were confiscated as means used to facilitate drug trafficking.

A criminal case was filed against him for drug trafficking. 

The arrested man was taken to appear before the Corfu Prosecutor.
