Boat sinks in Paxos

PAXOS. A preliminary investigation is being conducted by the Paxos Coast Guard Station.
On Monday morning, August 19th, Paxos Coast Guard officers arrested a 56-year-old Irish national for negligence, causing a boat to sink, and violations of the Public Maritime Law Code.
The man ran the vessel aground on rocks in Lakka harbour, Paxos, resulting in its sinking. The five passengers, also Irish nationals, are in good health. A preliminary investigation is being conducted by the Paxos Coast Guard Station.
