Wildfire in South Corfu

CORFU. According to latest information,, the fire has been contained.
The fire department was called out at 12:12 p.m.on Monday morning, August 12th, for a fire which broke out near the cemetery in Agioi Theodori in Lefkimmi.
Three fire engines with seven firefighters and one vehicle from the South Corfu Municipality rushed to the scene and began the firefighting efforts.
According to reports, the fire has been contained, burning half a stremma of dry grass and olive trees.
