Greek PM: "Corfu water supply will be reviewed from scratch"
LEFKADA. The Prime Minister was in Lefkada for the signing of the contract for the new water supply project.
Greek PM Kyriakos Mitsotakis was in Lefkada on Friday, July 5th, and attended the signing of the contract for the construction of a new water supply network for the Regional Units of Lefkada, Preveza, and Arta. In his speech during the event, the Prime Minister also referred to the Corfu water supply project. Addressing Regional Governor Yiannis Trepeklis, he stated:
"To conclude, since we are talking about water, Mr. Regional Governor, let me tell you that the water supply of Corfu will be the next major challenge, which we want to review from scratch, to see how we can address this issue in a substantial, permanent, and sustainable way."
