76,000 international passenger arrivals at Corfu Airport in April
CORFU. There was an increase in passenger traffic and international arrivals last month, according to the official data from Fraport.
There was an increase in the number of arrivals at Corfu Airport in April compared to the same month in 2023, confirming the estimates for a good tourist season this year.
According to the official data released today by Fraport, 137,226 international passengers were handled at Corfu Airport (arrivals and departures) compared to 122,355 in the same month last year, recording a 12.2% increase in passenger traffic.
There was also a 9.6% increase in the number of international flights, with 1,012 (arrivals and departures) compared to 923 in April last year.
UK top of the list by a significant margin
According to the arrival and departure data from Fraport, the United Kingdom again holds the top spot with 420 flights, followed by Germany with 215, France with 86, Poland with 66, and Italy completing the top five with 67 flights.
32,129 passengers from the UK, 17,467 from Germany, 6,985 from France, 5,911 from Poland and 3,754 from Italy arrived in Corfu in the month of April. The total number of arrivals from all international flights amounted to 75,881 passengers.
