Deputy Regional Governor updated on progress of Garitsa shore road works

CORFU. The desire of the regional authority for the fastest and highest-quality possible completion of the work was stressed to the contractor.

On Monday, January 22, the Deputy Regional Governor for Technical Works and Planning, Giorgos Mamalos, held a working meeting with Athanasios Froussos, a representative of the company GRAOUTEK, which is executing the project for the restoration of the coastal retaining wall and pavement in Garitsa.

The Deputy Regional Governor was briefed on the progress of the work and the scheduling for the immediate future. The desire of the regional authority for the fastest and highest-quality possible completion of the work was stressed to the contractor. Subsequently, the Deputy Regional Governor visited the project area and was guided through the construction site to observe the progress of the work.

 

Immediately afterwards, the Deputy Regional Governor made the following statement:

"Today, I met with the contractor of the project for the restoration of the coastal retaining wall to form a personal opinion on the progress of the work. The regional authority's goal is to accelerate the pace of the work so that the project can be completed as soon as possible, with the fundamental condition, of course, that it fully meets both aesthetic and functional excellence. The Regional Authority will closely monitor the progress of the work with the aim of ensuring smooth advancement and avoiding any further delays."
