Old Town Residents΄ Association concerned about reduction of public space in Garitsa-Anemomylos Park
CORFU. "Our association will resort to all legal means in order to safeguard the public interest and the quality of life of our fellow citizens."
(Old Town Permanent Residents' Association) Corfu Old Town Permanent Residents' Association expresses its disagreement with the actions that the municipal authority intends to take, granting businesses in the food and beverage sector more than double the space they currently occupy while reducing the public space in Garitsa-Anemomylos Park.
Pointing out the existing legislation, which leaves no room for arbitrary interventions, does not seem to influence the actions of the municipal authority, which completely disregards the views of the residents' associations of Anemomylos, Garitsa and the Old Town.
Our association will resort to all legal means to safeguard the public interest and the quality of life of our fellow citizens.
