There was a decrease in passenger arrivals at Corfu Airport in November compared to the same period in 2022. However, the closure of the airport for two weeks due to upgrade works must be taken into account.
According to the data released by Fraport, 23,679 passengers arrived in Corfu (18,582 from destinations in Greece and 5,097 from abroad), when in 2022 there were 29,183 passengers (24,071 from Greece and 5,112 from abroad). Thus, there was a 18.9% decrease.
There was also a significant decrease in flights (41.2%) with 293 flights compared to 498 in 2022.
As for the international passengers, the UK maintains the top spot both in arrivals and departures with 410 passengers coming and 1,897 leaving Corfu. France follows with 142 arrivals and 884 departures, while 193 passengers came to the island from the rest of the world and 1,571 left.
