CORFU. It was finally confirmed that there was no danger.
Corfu police received a call on Thursday evening, 10 August, regarding a suspicious object inside a car on Alexandras Avenue. Police rushed to the scene, sealing off the surrounding roads, and a bomb disposal expert was called in to inspect the vehicle.
After approximately two hours, and once the police ensured that there was no danger, they reopened the road to traffic.
