Fire in North Corfu still not under control

CORFU. The fire that started from the area of Loutses is continuing to move towards the east. Fortunately, the western winds blowing in the area are not strong. Already, an alert to evacuate certain areas has been issued by the 112 service, while 12 vehicles with 36 firefighters are operating in the area, including 2 ground units.
The aerial forces have ceased to operate during the nighttime hours.
Earlier, a firefighter had to be transported to the hospital by ambulance with respiratory problems.
