Man with European arrest warrant against him arrested in Corfu

CORFU. The arrest warrant was issued by the Portuguese authorities.
A foreign national was arrested last night, 4 July, in Corfu for whom a European arrest warrant had been issued by the Portuguese authorities for fraud, currency counterfeiting, forgery, money laundering and participation in a criminal organisation.
The arrested man was taken to appear before the Corfu Prosecutor.
