Four arrested in Corfu and Zakynthos for disturbing the peace and playing music outwith times allowed
CORFU. Police are continuing their checks on catering establishments.
In the last 48 hours police in Corfu and Zakynthos arrested four people (three Greeks and one foreign national) for noise pollution, disturbing the peace and playing music outwith the times allowed.
In Lagana, Zakynthos a foreign business owner was arrested on Saturday night (24/6) and a Greek manager on Sunday night (25/6) for playing music above the levels allowed.
In Alikana, Zakynthos a man was arrested early this morning for playing music above the levels allowed and disturbing the peace.
Another manager of a catering establishment in Central Corfu was arrested early on Sunday morning for playing music outwith the times allowed and disturbing the peace.
All four were taken to appear before their respective prosecutors.
