Central Corfu Municipality collaborating with GNTO office in Israel
CORFU. A fam trip for journalists was organised to promote the destination.
Mayor Meropi Ydraiou welcomed a five-member delegation of journalists from Israel at the San Giacomo Old Town Hall yesterday, with the President of the Municipal Council, Dimitris Metallinos and the Deputy Mayor of Tourism, Panayiotis Varouchas also present.
Led by Esther Eskaloni-Shadmon, an official from the Greek National Tourism Organisation (GNTO) office in Israel, the press team is undertaking a five-day familiarisation trip to Corfu, with the aim of promoting our destination in the Israeli market.
This particular initiative is the result of close collaboration between the Municipality and the Mayor with the Embassy and the Head of the GNTO office in Israel, Dimitris Vasiliadis, and the joint invitation extended by both parties to the media in Tel Aviv, with the support and generous sponsorship of the Angsana hotel group.
