School pupils lay wreaths for 25th March National Anniversary

CORFU. Talks on the significance of 25 March at all the schools.
The 25th March National Anniversary celebrations began today with primary and secondary schools being decorated with flags and talks given to pupils on the significance of the anniversary.
Wreaths were laid at the Hero statue in Corfu Town this afternoon by students, pupils, scouts and guides with the philharmonic band.

Parade on Saturday
There will be a parade in Corfu Town tomorrow, Saturday 25 March, at 12:45 with disabled war veterans, students, pupils, guides and scouts, armed forces, police, coastguard, fire service and border guards accompanied by the three town philharmonic bands as always: 'Old', 'Mantzaros' and 'Capodistrias'.
