Upgrading and modernisation of North Corfu sports grounds continues

CORFU. North Corfu Municipality is continuing its work to upgrade and modernise sports grounds in the area.
Deputy Mayor for Culture and Sport Theodoros Mavronas and Municipal Councillor Ioannis Kaloudis are overseeing the following projects, amongst others, as part of the Municipality's strategic plan for sports and culture:
Kassiopi sports ground: Installation of roofing over the terrace - solving an issue that had been a matter of concern to locals.
Nymphes sports ground: Installation of modern LED floodlights.
Karousades sports ground: Repair and maintenance of fencing and completing installation of grills for the dressing rooms.
Installation of synthetic rubber at all sports grounds for better training conditions.
Statement from North Corfu Municipality:
"We are continuing with improvements at all North Corfu sports grounds in order to ensure modern facilities for youngsters and sportspeople.
The local authority is making these necessary improvements in response to the needs of the local communities and providing modern, safe and fully-operational sports facilities.
The operational and aesthetic upgrading of North Corfu sports facilities is part of efforts to develop a greater sports mentality and encourage sports activities at modern, hospitable and safe facilities for clubs and individuals."
