ATHENS. EODY announced 52,966 new cases from 17 to 23 October - including 467 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 52,966 confirmed new cases last week, 22% of which were reinfections. The total number of cases in Greece is now 5,135,200, of which 52.1% are females.
The number of new hospital admissions is 1,291, while 1,095 have been discharged from hospital.
82 patients are intubated in ICUs. The average age is 74 and 97.6% have underlying health conditions or are over 70.
There were 138 deaths taking the total number of fatalities to 33,574. 96% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
