ATHENS. EODY announced 55,242 new cases from 10 to 16 October - including 428 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 55,242 confirmed new cases last week, 21% of which were reinfections. The total number of cases in Greece is now 5,081,981, of which 52% are females.
The number of new hospital admissions is 1,351, while 968 have been discharged from hospital.
74 patients are intubated in ICUs. The average age is 73 and 95.9% have underlying health conditions or are over 70.
There were 107 deaths taking the total number of fatalities to 33,426. 96% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
