ATHENS. EODY announced 51,184 new cases from 3 to 9 October - including 427 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 51,184 confirmed new cases last week, 23% of which were reinfections. The total number of cases in Greece is now 5,026,494, of which 52% are females.
The number of new hospital admissions is 1,102, while 881 have been discharged from hospital.
62 patients are intubated in ICUs. The average age is 70 and 96.8% have underlying health conditions or are over 70.
There were 109 deaths taking the total number of fatalities to 33,313. 96% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
