ATHENS. EODY announced 54,649 new cases from 26 September to 2 October - including 473 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 54,649 confirmed new cases last week, 25% of which were reinfections. The total number of cases in Greece is now 4,975,067, of which 52% are females.
The number of new hospital admissions is 1,073, while 858 have been discharged from hospital.
66 patients are intubated in ICUs. The average age is 72 and 95.5% have underlying health conditions or are over 70.
There were 85 deaths taking the total number of fatalities to 33,200. 96% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
