ATHENS. EODY announced 40,100 new cases from 29 August to 4 September - including 368 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 40,100 confirmed new cases last week, 23% of which were reinfections. The total number of cases in Greece is now 4,804,982, of which 51.9% are females.
The number of new hospital admissions is 981, while 1,028 have been discharged from hospital.
101 patients are intubated in ICUs. The average age is 69 and 96% have underlying health conditions or are over 70.
There were 180 deaths taking the total number of fatalities to 32,757. 96% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
