ATHENS. EODY announced 50,579 new cases from 22 to 28 August - including 536 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 50,579 confirmed new cases last week, 23% of which were reinfections. The total number of cases in Greece is now 4,762,827, of which 51.9% are females.
The number of new hospital admissions is 1,173, while 1,298 have been discharged from hospital.
117 patients are intubated in ICUs. The average age is 69 and 96.6% have underlying health conditions or are over 70.
There were 202 deaths taking the total number of fatalities to 32,552. 95.9% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
