ATHENS. EODY announced 55,769 new cases from 15 to 21 August - including 679 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 55,769 confirmed new cases last week, 22% of which were reinfections. The total number of cases in Greece is now 4,712,025, of which 51.9% are females.
The number of new hospital admissions is 1,527, while 1,474 have been discharged from hospital.
132 patients are intubated in ICUs. The average age is 70 and 95.5% have underlying health conditions or are over 70.
There were 258 deaths taking the total number of fatalities to 32,335. 95.9% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
