ATHENS. EODY announced 100,421 new cases from 1 to 7 August - including 1,095 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 100,421 confirmed new cases last week, 21% of which were reinfections. The total number of cases in Greece is now 4,577,675, of which 51.8% are females.
The number of new hospital admissions is 2,343, while 2,195 have been discharged from hospital.
120 patients are intubated in ICUs. The average age is 70 and 95% have underlying health conditions or are over 70.
There were 314 deaths taking the total number of fatalities to 31,722. 95.9% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
